It will all get better in time

when you were younger did you ever have someone who was your best friend but some stupid fight caused you to never talk again? then years later you are forced into an awkward situation where you have to communicate again?

the point im trying to get at is i had one of those friends but i finally discovered the reason why we stopped being friends. i found out that according to this girl's mother i wasnt popular enough in 7th grade to be friends with her daughter so she somehow instigated a fight between us.

the funny thing now is that this same mother practically worships the ground i walk on. i can do no wrong because her daughter did end up being one of the popular girls in high school i guess. and you know where that got her? she ended up dropping out of uncg after 1 semester because of some mysterious illness where she couldnt go to class, aka laziness.  now  the mother tells my ex best friend why can she not be more like me, i have such a good head on my shoulders? why cant you get a job and buy your own clothes and pay for your own car and everything just like erin? i love it, why cant you be more like erin?

i think the important lesson here is be careful what you wish for, because you never know what youre going to get. or my personal favorite: popularity clearly isnt everything.

this weekend was the first time i have been truely happy in months.
i was myself again.

i keep telling myself patience is a virtue.

i found out that i have only 20 classes left to take before i graduate college...weird. so ill be graduating with a lot of my older friends. which makes me part of the class of 2011 instead 2012. sweet.

as this summer comes to a close in a few weeks. a lot is starting to sink in. im beginning to feel the pressure of being captain. especially now that the Carolinas Conference college division is trying to organize a cheer competition. and i really want to do well for the school because if i do then maybe we will be more recognized or something. its just a lot. and im worried the girls wont listen to me and im scared of doing a bad job. its a lot.

oh and i have decided to apply overseas for medical school as well. i think it would be cool.

and on tuesday ill take another state test and ill have one more medical certification under my belt. this one will allow me to pass out meds to old people. how fun is that. no more ass wiping for me!
